Get to know the new Chevy Silverado trim levels to get a better idea of which one is right for you. There are seven trims available, meaning that no matter your preferences or needs, it will be easy to find the right one.
Chevy Silverado WT
The base Chevy Silverado is the WT. It comes with 17-inch steel wheels featuring all-season tires. The bumpers, grille, manual exterior mirrors, and door handles are all black. The exterior also features a CornerStep rear bumper, cargo area lamps, full-size spare tire, locking tailgate, and LED signature lighting accents on the HID projector headlamps. Inside, you will notice a 3.5-inch Driver Information Center, and the 40/20/40 front and 60/40 rear seats can be covered in cloth or vinyl. You get 4 or 6 speakers, radio, and a 4.2-inch color display for entertainment. This model runs on a 4.3-liter Ecotec3 V6 engine and 6-speed automatic. Other features of the standard Silverado 1500 WT include StabiliTrak with Electronic Say Control, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, and tire pressure monitoring.
Chevy Silverado LS
The 2016 Silverado LS builds on the WT, adding stainless steel to the wheels. It also changes the bumpers to chrome and adds a chrome-surround grille. You also get remote keyless entry, Chevy MyLink with Bluetooth and a 7-inch touchscreen, OnStar with 4G LTE Wi-Fi abilities, and Apple CarPlay.
Chevy Silverado LT
Moving up in the Silverado lineup is the LT trim with side moldings, mirror caps, door handles in the body color, and aluminum wheels. You also get an EZ-lower and lift tailgate and chrome grille. Inside, the MyLink system has an 8-inch touchscreen plus HD radio, and the front 40/20/40 bench seat has cloth upholstery. This model also adds leather, cruise control, and audio controls to the steering wheel and gives you SiriusXM.
Chevy Silverado LT Z71
The LT Z71 builds on the LT and gives you 18-inch wheels, headlamp bezels and grille surrounds in the body color, LED halogen fog lamps, black recovery hooks, and chrome on the lower bumper. It also has the unique Z71 appearance package, hill descent control, a heavy-duty locking rear differential, an underbody transfer case shield, the trailering package, and the Z71 off-road suspension.
Chevy Silverado LTZ
The 2016 Silverado LTZ builds on the LT, offering 18-inch wheels of bright-machined aluminum and chrome exterior features. It also gives you full LED taillamps, projector headlamps, and fog lamps. Inside, you get a 110-volt outlet, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated leather seats with 10-way adjustment for the driver and front passenger. You also get a rear vision camera, remote vehicle starter, and theft deterrent system. This Silverado runs on a 5.3-liter V8 and 8-speed automatic.
Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71
The LTZ Z71 gives you the Z71 appearance package and off-road suspension along with a high-capacity air cleaner, locking rear differential, hill descent control, underbody shield to protect the transfer case, spray-on bedliner, and trailering package.
Chevy Silverado High Country
For the most luxury, choose the Silverado High Country, which adds to the LTZ. It gives you 6-inch chrome assist steps, 20-inch chrome wheels, cargo tie-downs, bumpers in the body color, a logo on the spray-on bedliner, and polished exhaust tips. Inside, you get premium perforated leather on the front heated and ventilated seats featuring 12-way power adjustment. Finally, this trim has wireless charging, rear park assist, Bose premium sound, navigation, a center floor console, and a unique interior color.
